FALL IS HERE! Okay, it still might be in the 80’s here in Los Angeles… but it is October! While I feel bittersweet about summer being over, I am excited for big cozy sweaters, knee high socks, and beanies. To get into the fall spirit, I picked out a few things that I want this upcoming season. So grab your pumpkin spice latte (let’s be honest, you’ve probably already had a few), and check out a few of my favorite things for fall!
1. NARS Lipstick in Red Lizard: When it comes to lipstick, fall means putting away the corals and pinks and pulling out the reds and purples. I LOVE dark lipsticks, especially this deep red from NARS.
2. The Little Things Mug: I discovered Charm & Gumption a little while ago on Pinterest and I’ve had my eye on this mug ever since. It reminds me of cold weather and my spirit animal (Blair Waldorf, of course) all wrapped up on one perfect mug; I would love to drink tea out of it through the winter!
3. Steve Madden Megss Boots: These boots are called Megss…if that’s not a sign that they belong in my closet, I don’t know what is. I am really at a loss of words when it comes to these. I just need them ASAP.
4. Not That Kind of Girl by Lena Dunham: I love everything about Lena Dunham and I’ve been looking forward to this book for a long time. If her book is as good as GIRLS, I’ll probably read it within a day. Honestly, I plan on buying it by the end of the week!
5. BB Dakota Henderson Jacket: Sometimes I wish I lived somewhere where I needed to wear big heavy coats once it got cold. Then, I remember that I hate cold weather and snap back to reality. This jacket is just heavy enough for chilly LA nights and I hope to own it soon!
6. Brixton X UO Clint Felt Panama Hat: Lately I’ve had this weird obsession with maroon hats…seriously. My roommate and I will be watching TV (aka binge watching Scandal) and I’ll see one while scrolling through Instagram and I’ll suddenly scream “I WANT A MAROON HAT!” out of nowhere. The obsession is real, and I’m obsessed with this one from Brixton and Urban Outfitters.
