The Simplicity of Summer

Gone are the days of rain and cold (I hope) and we are finally getting some sunshine here in LA. I’m ecstatic to finally be able to pull out sun hats and all of my cut-off shorts and maybe even head to the beach sometime soon. Since I was once a desert-dweller in Arizona, the warm weather fuels me. I live for spending time outdoors summer style is my absolute favorite.

I love the simplicity that the summer months bring to fashion. There is nothing better than a comfortable and effortless outfit. While I do have fun playing with layers during the colder months, nothing beats being able to throw on a dress or your favorite pair of shorts and going on your way.

Cut-offs are a classic summer staple in my wardrobe and I love being able to pair them with espadrilles like I did here. These shoes are a trend that I’m totally on board with; they’re easy to throw on while still looking cute and summery. I have been wearing them non-stop and might even be looking for another pair to add to my collection (okay, I totally am).

I live for the breeziness of summer style. Even when you need to dress up, it is so much easier to put on your best sun dress and your favorite pair of heels and call it a day. You don’t have to worry about finding a coat to match your sweater or how you’re going to get dressed up without freezing. Things just go so smoothly in the summertime.
